The Company has four projects lined up to be produced in the next three years, the first of which is already in preproduction. Wildshot Pictures Ltd. has secured the screenplay and film rights for the following slate of Projects:

The Company will set up and finance the TV series with UK and US Broadcasters, usually in a partnership with a well-established TV production Company in the UK, like Mammoth Screen Ltd.

The principals of the Company are:

Laurens Geels, an experienced producer and screenwriter. During his career his films have won an Oscar, the European Film Award ‘Felix’, the Venice Critics Award, the Grand Prix Avoriaz, three Dutch Film Awards and many other international awards related to his motion pictures. 

Laurens started his career in 1984 as producer of various theatre productions. He also produced and directed music videos. Eventually he became co-writer and script developer for many motion pictures and started to produce films. His film “Character”, which he co-wrote and produced won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film in 1998. Presently Laurens has produced more than twenty-five motion pictures and TV series. In 2014 he was executive producer of the BBC/HBO TV series “Parades End”, directed by Susanna White and starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Rebecca Hall. Last year he was commissioned to write the screenplay, “Capa”about the Paris and Spanish civil war years of Robert Capa and his turbulent love affair with Gerda Taro. 

Paul van Leeuwen is the Company’s CEO. Being specialized in film accountancy he has gained tremendous experience with international productions over a period of more than twenty years. Also because of this, he is frequently asked by prominent Completion Guarantors to do due diligences on films in production. Paul has also been active as an executive an / or co-producer of international motion pictures and TV projects. 

All the Company’s projects are full developed in-house. The Company also hires external creative professionals, like animation designer Stephen Prior, to participate in the development and screenwriting process. To monitor the feasibility of financing and production of the projects, the Company consults with external partners like co-producers, broadcasters and sales agents about the creative content of the projects as well as about possible directors and main cast.  The market position of the Company can be qualified as very good, based on the fact that TV series and Animation are in high demand and the Company has a substantial network in the UK industry.
